About WWD
Welcome!
Inspired by the 1999 documentary of the same name, Walking With Dinosaurs is a community dedicated to providing the ultimate realism experience.
Our primary focus is dinosaurs and wildlife simulator games. We currently have servers for Beasts of Bermuda and Path of Titans. We strive to create a playerbase willing to push aside mechanics and human instinct to instead give other players the most realistic and immersive prehistoric experience possible. Similarly, success in WWD requires open collaboration and consideration of others. We wish to build a community that prioritizes selfless actions - both in and out of the game.
What do we expect from our Community?
We encourage our community members to build relationships with each other and to spend time interacting with each other. When it comes to in-game or Discord conflicts, we desire for our players to resolve those issues in a cordial and congenial manner before requiring staff mediation. External Discords, clans, and cliques are highly discouraged. The ideal WWD community member is someone willing to engage in selfless actions, words, and choices as we work together to create an immersive and entertaining environment.

What is OUR Goal?
The goal is to give you the chance to experience a natural, harsh, and grueling environment in-game while also providing a welcoming and collaborative community out of the game. Far too many servers give players gameplay that is too scripted or an experience that is too predictable. In those same servers, players are quick to report and punish others when interactions do not operate in a prescribed manner. WWD seeks to be a remedy to servers of this nature.
Our in-game mission is to simulate survival of the fittest. WWD encourages its players to not become too attached to their characters. Winning or losing, surviving or languishing, and fighting to see another day are themes seen commonly in an animal's life. WWD wishes to unite the aspects of roleplay and survival into one immersive experience. Our goal is to become synonymous with this hybrid experience. It is very important to note, WWD is not for everyone, and we will never be for everyone. We are for a very specific type of player.
Lead Actor System
As a community-based server, we reward and promote actors who show outstanding leadership, dedication to their craft, and kindness. Lead Actors are considered role-models throughout the community, and may assist in teaching actors the ins-and-outs of realism, running events, creating dinosaur behavior for the entire community to follow, and much more.
Events and Classes
Exciting events are held often by staff members and Lead Actors! We host events that incorporate giant hunts, drastic weather, massive migrations and much more! We also organize classes and teach actors the profiles as well as how to play realistically. Actors may apply to become event planners so they can host their own spectacular events!
Species Hub
The Species Hub is a separate and optional Discord server where you and your friends can register your herd or pack to make it official! Here, you can share your dinosaur’s stories, craft family trees, appoint your dinosaur territories, write personalized biographies, and interact in your own dedicated voice channels! Additionally, you can utilize the species hub to find others of your kind.
Bi-Weekly Staff Break Days
WWD is run by a team of volunteers who graciously donate their time and energy to create the best experience possible. From taking reports to attending meetings, WWD staff are actively involved every day in the community. Every two weeks, we celebrate our staff team with two free days where they can do as they please. While the servers remain on, staff members are not required to take reports or perform other nonemergency staff tasks.
Beasts of Bermuda
Those seeking an exciting experience should look no further than our Beasts of Bermuda server, which was the first successful realism server for the game. There are various factors that make our Beasts of Bermuda server exciting and fun. With custom growth caps, grow rates, hunger and thirst drain, and more, the WWD experience remains the premier method to explore realism on Beasts of Bermuda!
Path of Titans
WWD currently hosts two Path of Titans servers. We are one of the most popular servers on Path of Titans, with unique ways to enrich the usual gameplay loop of Path of Titans. With the ability to set their own marks, a player is able to immediately make an impact on the ever-evolving story of WWD. We are working on our own custom mod pack and server, Hell Creek, which will be the ultimate realism and hardcore survival experience.
